Calling would be your archetype. This is something that can't be changed once you make the choice.  Let me repeat that – once you choose the calling, it can’t be changed! So choose wisely.   For example, if you were a Mage in other RPG games, don't automatically select that.  The mechanics of Rift work differently. There are four Callings - Mage, Warrior, Rogue and Cleric. When getting started, try out each of them for a while.  After you have a better understanding of the game, then you can finalize which one you want to play. How to Get A Lot of Gold in Rift For Power Leveling

These are a few of many secrets I have come across in the game of rift to help get you a boat load of gold so you can power level even faster. Currently I have two characters over level 40 with a good amount of money in there bags. I found the need for a mount very important as it increases your moment speed.Therefore, it will increase the speed at which you complete everything. Making your time spent in rift much more enjoyable and cut your time wasted traveling in half.

Here are some tips:

• One of the first purchases you should make when you have the cash have, is to buy bigger

bags allowing you to carry more items at once. This reduces the amount of times you will have to travel back to a vender in order to sell him and get money.

• The first area you will be able to make quick cash at low level is located at Eliam’s Field with the coordination’s of [6493, 4846] (this is a defiant side area). You can beginning grinding here at level 10. The area has many boars located here that are relatively easy to kill. These boars have about a 15-20% chance of dropping Tough Sinews which sell for at least a gold a piece so a stack of these can vender to bring in a hefty cash flow. There is also an amazing weapon quest located in this area to help you kill these boars even faster. The quest is called Mutated meat and involves killing these boars.

One final crucial tip:

If you still do not have a mount by level 15: Start grind Forest Stalkers/Strikers, they have a 10% chance to drop [Length of Spider Silk]. Which is worth 1 gold and they are very easy to kill with little downtime. The coordinates are [6165, 5483].  By grinding these mobs you will not only level fast but makes tons of cash allowing you to buy the essentials for low level characters.
